Hello Ninja Community!
Get ready for the first-ever CNL Stage 1 Scramble hosted by Fitset Ninja! We're bringing this exciting, fast-paced competition format to our athletes for the very first time.
Instead of getting just one shot at a single long course, competitors will have 30 minutes to scramble through four custom mini courses, racing the clock as many times as they like to earn their best possible scores and qualify for Stage 2.
What to Expect
Competitions are the ultimate highlight of the ninja season! Whether you're aiming for the top of the CNL leaderboard or taking on your first official event, this competition is designed to test your skills, build community, and showcase incredible athleticism.
Fast-Paced Mini Courses: Courses are short, intense (under a minute), and scaled specifically to each age category.
More Attempts, Better Scores: The scramble format gives you multiple chances to conquer tricky movements, refine your strategy, and put up your absolute best run.
Top Competition: As an official Canadian Ninja League Stage 1 qualifier, we look forward to welcoming talented athletes from across the region.
Spectators Welcome: Family and friends are encouraged to come cheer on the athletes! Food and refreshments will be available on site.
How It Works
Time Window: Each age category gets 30 minutes in a time-trial format across 4 mini-obstacle courses set up throughout the gym.
Balanced Skill Test: Each course focuses on a different element of ninja skills (e.g., upper body, agility, balance, power).
Tiered Scoring: Faster times earn higher point tiers.
🥇 Platinum: 20 pts
🥇 Gold: 15 pts
🥈 Silver: 10 pts
🥉 Bronze: 5 pts
Retries Encouraged: Your single best result on each course will count toward your final score.
Winner: Points are tallied across all four courses after 30 minutes—the highest total score wins the category!

Doors open at 09:00 AM.
Note: A finalized schedule will be released the week of the event. Start times may shift depending on registration numbers.
Podium presentations and prize announcements will follow directly after the conclusion of each category.

Points:
Points are awarded for completing the course without any failures.
Athletes earn points based on their finish time.
Example:
Bronze (5pts): 45+ seconds
Silver (10pts): 35-44 seconds
Gold (15pts): 25-34 seconds
Platinum (20pts): 15-24 seconds
Athletes can attempt all courses as many times as they want, but only their best time will be recorded.
Tie Breakers:
The placement is determined using the following hierarchy: Most Medals by Tier: Compare the athletes' medal counts in the following order until a difference is found:
1. Platinum (Most Platinums wins)
2. Gold (If Platinums are tied, most Golds wins)
3. Silver (If Platinums and Golds are tied, most Silvers wins)
4. Bronze (If Platinums, Golds, and Silvers are tied, most Bronzes wins)
